One handpiece instead of three

The CA NOVA 1:5 L runs from 500 all the way to 200,000 RPM. That single range covers high speed and slow speed restorative work in one instrument. Most operatories carry a high speed handpiece, a slow speed handpiece, and a third for finishing. This replaces up to three of them.

That means one instrument to buy per room instead of three, one to sterilize between patients instead of three, and one to send out when something needs service. For a practice running six operatories, that math gets significant fast.

And it is the smallest head Bien-Air makes

Head and neck are the smallest in the entire Bien-Air range, at 6.3 mm diameter by 13.7 mm high. Second molars, distal surfaces and patients who cannot open wide are where you notice it.

This instrument

  • Replaces up to 3 separate handpieces
  • 500 to 200,000 RPM, covering all high speed and slow speed restorative applications
  • Small tapered head, 6.3 mm diameter by 13.7 mm high
  • Uses friction grip burs
  • 4 asymmetrical mixed sprays
  • 56 dBA
  • Internal anti-retraction valve
  • 2-year warranty

Built to last longer than it has to

  • PVD-coated chuck system
  • Sterilizable internal anti-retraction valve, so nothing gets drawn back into the line
  • CoolTouch+ heat-arresting push button protects the patient's lip and your fingers
  • Stainless steel housing, engineered to double the service life
  • Swiss made

Standard REF 1601139-001. Micro-Series REF 1601138-001. Micro-Series is shorter and lighter, which reduces strain on the hand, wrist and shoulder across a full day of chair time.

Planning note: Micro-Series attachments pair with short nose micromotors. Tell us what motor is in the operatory and we will confirm the right version before quoting.

Need help before choosing?

We can look at the room, not just the equipment.

For mechanical rooms, replacements, imaging systems and complete offices, send the office address, space details, utilities and existing equipment. We will review it before replying.
